Last Thursday, the Dutch national programme COMMIT/ organised a public event called the Big Future of Data about all its projects. Ours, Interaction for Universal Access (IUALL.nl), was also represented with a total of 6 demos. I was the demo owner of a demo of a serious game prototype called LOITER, about a police officer trying to calm down virtual juveniles who are playing loud music. Below is a short video about he game, with me as the player.
We received a lot of positive attention and feedback on our approach at the event (which had over 500 visitors) and we also made it to the local news, as did some of my colleagues from my department (Tikkertje 2.0).
It was a very cool event: very taxing on all of the people involved, but also very rewarding to get our ideas out there.
